Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a storage facility in Sout Toms River on Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the storage facility located in the 20's block of Flint Road after they received reports of injured victims at that location.
Units arrived at the scene to find a severely injured suffering head trauma according to preliminary reports.
A second person was found suffering minor injuries reports said.
Both victims were transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.
The circumstances behind the assaults remain under investigation.
