South Plainfield Police Seeks Public’s Assistance in Fatal Crash Investigation

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the South Plainfield Police Department are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on July 4th at approximately 4:50 a.m.

 

According to authorities, investigators located video of two motorcycles traveling northbound on New Brunswick Avenue between Stelton Road and Carlton Avenue while a dark colored vehicle is seen traveling in front of the motorcycles.

Officials are requesting the public’s assistance in the investigation of this fatal motorcycle crash which took the life of a 28-year-old woman.

 

Anyone that may have been traveling on New Brunswick Avenue on the morning of July 4th between the hours of 4:40 am and 5 a.m. are asked to please contact Detective Don Heck of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at (732) 745-8842 or Lieutenant David DeLair of the South Plainfield Police Department at (908) 226-7679.
