South Hackensack Man Accused of Assault

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Segundo Calle-Calle, 52, of South Hackensack, on charges of Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

According to authorities, on April 1st, the Hackensack Police Department received a report that Calle-Calle engaged in sexual acts with a minor under the age of thirteen in South Hackensack.

Based on that information, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. As a result of the investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the South Hackensack Police Department, officers arrested Calle-Calle on April 1st and charged him with two counts of Sexual Assault By Sexual Contact and one count of Endangering The Welfare Of A Minor.

Officials say Calle-Calle is currently detained in the Bergen County Jail.

Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
