South Dakota Man Indicted for Violent NJ Shooting

Authorities in Atlantic County reported Dominique Woodall, 27, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was indicted by an Atlantic County grand jury on Tuesday, August 15, for the shooting and death of 30-year-old Atlantic City resident Terrance Dismuke on Friday, June 16, in Egg Harbor City.

According to officials, Woodall was indicted for first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun.

Authorities say on June 16, at approximately 4:50 p.m., the Egg Harbor City Police was dispatched to the 200 block of St. Louis Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Mr. Dismuke had been shot and was transported to the hospital by emergency medical personnel.

Officials said Mr. Dismuke succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.

Woodall was arrested without incident on Tuesday, June 20, at approximately 2:00 a.m. in Pleasantville, police say.

He is currently lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending disposition of the case.
