According to The National Weather Service, a mixed bag of weather is expected in Newark and the North Jersey region, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, primarily before noon.
NWS forecasters say the wind will play a role in this weather transition, starting from the southwest at speeds of 5 to 11 mph before shifting to a westerly direction in the morning.
As the evening descends, North Jersey can anticipate partly cloudy conditions, and temperatures dropping to around 69 degrees.
NWS forecasters say the wind, now coming from the west, will maintain a gentle pace at 5 to 9 mph.
The humidity level for the day is predicted to be relatively high at 87 percent. The calm wind speed and a barometric pressure of 29.80 inches indicate relatively stable atmospheric conditions.
While the day may start cloudy and damp, the sun is expected to break through as the day progresses, offering a mix of weather experiences.
