Police in Newark reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Newark's Central Ward Wednesday night.
A ShotSotter device alerted police of multiple rounds of gunfire that rang out in the area of Longworth Street and Martin Luther King Jr.Boulevard shortly before 11:50 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and requested the shooting Response Team after they located shell casings.
No injuries were reported after police searched the neighborhood.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured.
