Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect who fired multiple rounds of bullets in a neighborhood in the city Monday night.
According to police, the detection system alerted officers of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 80 North 1st Street at approximately 9 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene found about three shell casings, but after a search of the area, no victims were found according to police.
Police are investigating the motive behind the shooting and the suspect remains at-large.
