There were no immediate reports of injuries reported in a shots-fired incident in Newark's North Ward on Monday evening around 6:40 p.m.
Police say shooters arrived in the vicinity of 191 Roseville Avenue and began to fire repeatedly at individuals near the corner before fleeing the scene.
According to police, units arrived at the scene and found about 15 shell casings, but after they searched the scene, no victims were found.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
