Police in Paterson are looking into a shots-fired incident that occurred in a neighborhood in the city on Saturday night.
According to police, gunfire rang our in the vicinity of Hamilton and Summer Street at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Police say officers arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, no victims were found.
Bullets struck one vehicle, but police say no one was inside during the incident.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
