Police in Plainfield are looking into a shots fired incident that occurred in a neighborhood in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, the incident took place in the 500 block of West 3rd Street at approximately 10:20 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene and found no victims during their search of the area and while investigating.
A dark colored vehicle was observed speeding away from the area immediately after the shots fired reports.
The incident remains under investigation.
