Newark Police officials are on the search for a suspect wanted for firing shots in a section of the city on Wednesday evening.
Police say it happened around 8:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 316 15th Avenue, where officers arrived after a Shotspotter activation alerted them of multiple rounds of gunfire in the area.
Units arrived and found shell casings, but no victims were found during a search of the area.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
