A Jersey City high school was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon following a threat that a person was going to shoot a student.
According to preliminary reports, a shooting threat posted on Facebook lead to the lockdown at Lincoln High School since approximately 1 p.m.
Police were inside the school conducting the investigating.
