Police in Elizabeth are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred outside a store on Sunday morning.
It happened around 11 a.m. outside the Forman Mills clothing store located in the 600 block of Newark Avenue.
Police received a call from a female who alleged that her car was shot up at that location.
Officers arrived and found shell casings, but no injuries were reported.
Circumstances behind the shooting are under investigation and it is not clear if the woman met with officers at this time.
