Shooting Injures Two in Jersey City

Police in Jersey City are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday night.

According to police, several rounds of gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Oak Street at around 8:08 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two victims suffering gunshot wounds at that location.

Police say the victims were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and remain in an unknown condition.

Police located a vehicle on Linden Avenue with weapons inside, but the suspect remains at-large.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
