Police in Newark are investigating a shooting that erupted in the South Ward Saturday afternoon.
Shortly before 12:25 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 90's block of Hedden Terrace.
Several officials arrived at the scene and found shell casings, but after canvassing the neighborhood, no victims were found.
Authorities announced no arrests in the shooting.
The motive has not been determined.
