Police in Irvington Township seek the public’s help with information on a shooting that caused injuries earlier today.
Police said the 25-year-old Newark resident was shot in the chest in the area of 18th Avenue and 21st Street.
According to police, the victim was transported to University Hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Police said the suspects responsible for the shooting were operating a Grey Jeep Cherokee with black rims when they fled the scene immediately after the incident.
