Police are on the search for a suspect who fired shots in a section of Newark's North Ward Sunday morning.
According to police, residents in the area of Summer Avenue near Heller Parkway contacted authorities when they heard gunfire erupt around 3:20 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were found.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
