**UPDATE: One person dead, One critical; This is a husband and wife couple.**
Two Victims suffering severe injuries were rushed to the hospital after firefighters pulled them from a burning building early Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, firefighter raced to the single-digit block of Islandview Court (#2) after receiving reports of a fire with victims possibly trapped inside a multi-family building at that location just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and encountered heavy fire coming from the third floor of the house and began to stretch several lines to started their attack to knock the blaze down.
Crews were able to make their way inside one of the apartments, where they found two severely injured victims according to fire offcials.
The fire was placed under control in under a half-hour with all firefighters accounted for and uninjured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
