Passaic County authorities reported severe injuries for a person struck by a vehicle in Paterson Saturday morning.
Just before 2:50 a.m, police responded to the vicinity of Madison and 21st avenues to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified person suffering severe injuries after a vehicle struck them.
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and remained in serious condition.
It is not clear if the driver stayed at the scene at this time.
