Severe Injuries Reported in Paterson Motorcycle Crash

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 6:23 p.m., on Thursday, police responded to the intersection of 20th and Railroad avenues in response to a reported collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle.

Police say when they arrived they found Mr. Johnny Zea-Garay, 24-years-old, of Paterson, seriously injured when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a 2008 BMW.

According to police the motorcycle, a 2017 Kawasaki, was reportedly stolen.

Police say the 47-years-old driver of the BMW was not injured in the crash.

Mr. Zea-Garay remains in critical condition at Saint Joseph’s University Hospital in Paterson according to police.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
