Police are reporting life-threatening injuries for a male found suffering a stab wound in a section of Jersey City Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 2:40 a.m., police rushed to the vicinity of 336 Ocean Avenue to investigate an injured person's reports.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified victim bleeding heavily after being stabbed in the chest at that location.
Police say the victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center and remain in critical condition.
The suspect reportedly entered a light-colored SUV and sped away from the scene.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of the attack and the victim's condition.
