NJIT reportedly took several suspects into custody after the assailants attempted to steal a vehicle on the college campus Wednesday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Central Avenue and Warren Street to investigate suspicious males attempting to steal a car around 7:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located about three male suspects who fled on foot but were captured after a brief pursuit.
No injuries were reported, and the incident is under investigation.
