Several Injured After Gunmen Fire Multiple Shots on Street in Paterson

Passaic County authorities are on the search for suspects wanted for a firing a barrage of bullets in the neighborhood that struck multiple victims in Paterson Friday night.

According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street at approximately 9 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found as many as three victims struck by bullets at that location.

Detectives canvassing the scene found multiple shell casings and property damage, according to police.

All of the victims were transported to St. Joseph's Medical center for treatment and their conditions could not immediately be confirmed.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.

No arrests have been made.
