Police in East Orange are investigating a two-vehicle crash that sent four people to the hospital early Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred shortly before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Freeway Drive East and Clinton Street.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene after multiple 911 callers reported a crash with injuries. Upon arrival, crews found two heavily damaged vehicles involved in the collision.
Authorities said four people were transported to a local hospital for treatment. None of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.
The East Orange Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No additional information was immediately released.
