An adult and several juveniles were taken into custody Friday night following a firearm investigation that led to the recovery of nearly half a dozen weapons in a Jersey City neighborhood.

According to initial reports, police were conducting an unspecified investigation when they were led to the area of Bramhall Avenue and Clerk Street.
Officers identified a suspect believed to be armed, who then fled the scene along with several others as police called for backup.
During the pursuit, an adult suspect was quickly apprehended, while at least three juveniles were also arrested.
Authorities later discovered a second weapon in the teen block of Harmon Street, bringing the total number of recovered firearms to approximately five.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
