Police arrested several suspects wanted for an overnight aggravated assault on a person in Jersey City.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 14th Street to investigate reports of an assault in progress around 2:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an unconscious person who had been attacked and beaten in the head at that location.
The injured was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police investigating the scene located and took three male suspects into custody.
The motive for the violent assault is under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
