Trenton police are investigating a violent overnight crash that left two people seriously injured and caused significant damage in a city neighborhood.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were dispatched to the 500 block of Lamberton Street at approximately 3 a.m. Saturday after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers found that a vehicle had collided with an ATV before the vehicle continued into a nearby building.
The impact caused extensive damage and prompted authorities to secure the area.
Two unidentified individuals were transported to a regional trauma center for treatment of serious injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Police closed a portion of Lamberton Street while investigators examined the scene and gathered evidence.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under active investigation.
