Police are reporting serious injuries for one of two victims involved in an early morning crash on a highway in Jersey City.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of a crash with injuries on Route 1&9 truck at Newark Avenue just before 1 a.m.
Upon emergency responder's arrival, they found the crashed vehicles with two victims suffering severe injuries reports said.
One of the victims was provided life-saving techniques at the scene shortly before being rushed to Jersey City Medical Center.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Jersey City Police at this time.
