Paterson Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a location in the city on Thursday.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Fulton Street to investigate reports of an injured person at around 7 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found an unidentified person suffering a stab wound at that location.
The victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital where doctors treated serious injuries according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
