Serious Injuries Reported for Trenton Burn Victim

Fire offcials in Trenton are investigating the cause of a hours fire that injured one person at a location in the city Monday morning.

Officials say, the two-alarm blaze ignited inside a two-story brick front building located at 350 Morris Avenue at approximately 2:40 a.m.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and found smoke and flames coming from both divisions of the building, according to reports.

Crews were able to knock down the blaze in under 30 minutes, but after a search of the structure, they found the severely injured victim who was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
