An early morning crash on Rt. 21 in Newark that injured two people has police investigating.
The crash happened in the 1000 block near Bridge Street at around 1:30 a.m. where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with injuries reported.
Arriving Police and EMS located the crash and began treating two people who were badly injured at that location.
The victims were transported to University Hospital where the extent of their injuries have been reported as serious.
Police closed off a section of the roadway where they conducted an inquiry into the cause of the crash.
