EMS rushed a pedestrian to an area hospital after a vehicle struck them on a street in Elizabeth Saturday night.
It happened in the vicinity of 1009 Fairmount Avenue at approximately 9:40 p.m. where police were called to the scene to investigate an injured person.
Emergency responders arrived to find the unconscious person bleeding from the head at that location.
Medical professional at the hospital treated the victim's severe head trauma while police launched an investigation into the incidnet.
The victim's injuried were only reported as serious.
There were no arrests mase.
