Paterson Emergency Responders extricated the driver of a car that crash into a pole then came to rest on a house at a location in the city Sunday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened on Route 19 in the vicinity of Mill and Oliver streets just before 12:25 p.m.
Police say the driver of the car was pinned inside the vehicle after they lost control and slammed into a pole.
EMS transported the unidentified victim to St. Joseph’s.Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and no other cars were involved.
