EMS rushed one person to Jersey Shore Hospital after the victim was struck by a vehicle in Lakewood overnight.
Emergency responders were called to the Private Way before 12:30 a.m. for an injured person at that location.
Police and EMS crews arrived to find the victim lying on the ground suffering serious injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Lakewood Township Police Department.
