Police in Hackensack are continuing to investigate an incident where a bicyclist was struck by a car in Hackensack overnight.
Emergency responders were called to the vicinity of Temple and Hackensack avenues after they received reports of a person struck by a car.
Crews arrived at the scene to find that a vehicle collided with a bicyclist and caused severe injuries to the rider according to preliminary reports.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital where doctors treated their injuries.
The driver of the car reportedly stayed at the scene.
