A serious accident involving a military vehicle has at least four people injured, including a critically injured male and female, according to police.
Police were called to the southbound portion of the Turnpike at milepost 74.9 near Exit 8A in South Brunswick for a report of a crash shortly after 3 p.m.
Arriving troopers found an overturned military vehicle with at least one person trapped.
According to New Jersey State Police, a woman and a man were critically injured while another man was listed in serious condition after the crash.
A fourth victim was transported to RWJ in an unknown condition.
The southbound car lanes and most of the truck lanes have been re-opened.
