Authorities in Passaic County are investigating stabbing in Clifton and Passaic that sent several people to the hospital overnight.
Clifton Police responded to reports of a stabbing that happened near a bar located in the 60's block of Center Street shortly before 2:45 a.m.
Arriving police units located two victims suffering stab injuries at that location.
One of the victims reportedly suffered a stab wound to the back while the other victim was treated for a laceration to the head according to initial reports from the scene.
There were no arrests immediately reported for the Clifton stabbing scene.
Over in the 30's block of Howard Street in Passaic, police and EMS rushed to the scene of a reported stabbing.
Arriving emergency responders located three people suffering injuries after being stabbed at that location according to reports.
Two of the injured were reported as serious while EMS treated the third victim for non-life threatening injuries.
Police detained two people at the Passaic stabbing scene but it is not immediately clear if the pair committed the stabbings.
