Separate Newark Crashes Injures Several

Newark New Jersey

Separate car crashes that occurred around the city sent several people to the hospital. 

Here are some that we have been able to follow:

At around 12:30 a.m.,  Rescue crews performed a special operation to extricate a 30-year-old woman trapped in a vehicle suspended several feet off the ground on Tyler Street. The woman was transported to Trinitas  Hospital in Elizabeth with non-life threatening injuries.

At around 1:10 a.m., A crash in the 400 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard had a female victim extricated from a vehicle. The woman was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

At around 2:30 a.m., Four people were transported to University Hospital with minor injuries after a crash on Rt. 1&9 northbound near Raymond Boulevard. 

At around 3:00 a.m. A multi-vehicle crash that occurred in the 60's block of Lincoln Park sent one person to University Hospital suffering serious injuries. 

This one might be a Irvington incident, at around 12:45 a.m.,EMS evaluated  two people at the scene of a crash that occurred at Springfield Ave. and Sanford Ave.
