A senior woman is fighting for her life in a hospital in Bergen County after a truck struck her in Hackensack Thursday night.
Police say the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Passaic Street and summer Avenue.
According to police, the truck driver hit the woman while she was in the street then the trailer ran over the victim's body.
EMS rushed the woman to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition.
The Hackensack Police Department will handle the investigation.
