A second-story deck collapsed at West Long Branch home, sent as many as five people to an area hospital with injuries.
According to officials, on Aug. 16th at 2:47 p.m., officers from the West Long Branch Police Department responded to the scene of a deck collapse in the Borough of West Long Branch.
Upon their arrival, they found a collapsed deck from the second story of the building with multiple injuries.
Officials say patrols secured the area and began to treat the multiple five injuries.
According to authorities, injuries included lacerations, minor cuts and chest pains.
MONOC MICU and West Long Branch EMS responded to the scene and transported the victims to an area hospital.
The West Long Branch Construction Offical responded to the scene as well to investigate the scene.
