New Jersey is waking up to a calm, refreshing morning this Sunday, with temperatures sitting at a comfortable 66 degrees in downtown Newark near Broad and Market.
The early quiet hours set the tone for what forecasters say will be another stunning day across the Garden State.
According to the National Weather Service, the second half of the weekend will be just as spectacular as Saturday.
For those headed to First Sunday services at their house of worship, there’s no need for a jacket or an umbrella, the weather will remain warm and pleasant throughout the day.
Forecasters say skies will stay mostly sunny, with only a slight 20 percent chance of showers developing after 2 p.m.
Afternoon highs are expected to reach near 82 degrees, with light and variable winds shifting northeast at 5 to 7 miles per hour.
As evening approaches, conditions will remain clear and comfortable, with overnight lows dipping to around 63.
