Authorities in Hudson County on Monday, October 24, reported the arrest of Anyelo Jimenez-Marte, 30, of Secaucus, on charges relating to explicit contact crimes committed on a juvenile female.
According to officials, the crimes occurred in a Secaucus apartment on various dates in 2022 and 2023 when the victim was between 14 and 15 years old.
Authorities say the victim is known to the defendant.
Jimenez-Marte is charged with Explicit Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, officials stated.
Officials said he is being detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
The State has filed a motion for detention in this matter, which is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2023, officials say.
