Authorities in Ocean County are looking into the circumstances behind a drowning incident in Seaside Park on Tuesday.
Preliminary information indicated that at approximately 1:25 a.m., emergency responders were called to 209 Anchor Drive to investigate reports of a person in the water.
Upon arrival, police found the body of an unidentified person who reportedly had drowned in the Barnegat Bay.
The investigation remains active, ongoing and no other information was available at this time.
