Search Continues for Missing Newark Man

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating Jean Kensel Pierre Louis, 57, of Newark, who was reported missing on January 21.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that Mr. Louis had been admitted to Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark on January 21st and was discharged on that same date; he did not return home.

Mr. Louis is described as 5’4” tall, 150 pounds, and he was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue pants, Newark Police said.

Newark authorities say his mental and physical conditions are reportedly good.

Detectives investigating this incident report that Mr. Louis is known to frequent the area of South Orange Avenue and Sanford Avenue, according to Newark officials.
