Police took a male suspect into custody and charged him with an armed robbery at a gas station in Sayreville.
The incident happened at the Exxon Gas Station located in the 6000 block of Nj-35 at around 10:30 p.m.
According to reports, the suspect arrived at the gas station armed with a knife and attempted to rob employees.
Swift police response had officers locate then take the man into custody after a brief standoff reports said.
There were no injuries reported during the incident.
