The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce the final free scrap metal recycling event this Saturday, November 15.
There are three (3) locations in Union County for residents to drop off their metal for recycling, one in Cranford, Rahway and Westfield. All locations will be open from 9 am to 12 pm. Residents can drop off old appliances, microwaves, air conditioners, and metal lawn furniture, etc. Personnel will be on hand to assist residents with removing items from their vehicles.
