Authorities in Middlesex County are investigating an overnight crash involving injuries on Route 9 near Perrine Road in Old Bridge.
According to preliminary emergency reports, the accident prompted the closure of all lanes in both directions shortly after midnight Saturday, November 7.
An updated alert issued at approximately 1:10 a.m. indicated that the roadway would remain closed as authorities conducted their investigation.
The number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries have not been confirmed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the investigation continues.
