A vehicle that crashed then overturned in the westbound lanes of Interstate 78 in Newark sent police to the scene early this morning.
First responders rushed to the crash scene that occurred near exit 55 at around 1 a.m. where one person suffered life threatening injuries/possible fatality.
The accident investigation caused heavy traffic on the highway for hours. All lanes were re-opened shortly before 4 a..m.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
