There were no injuries reported in an early morning armed robbery at a gas station in Rockaway.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress that happened at the Shell Gas Station located in the single digit block of Green Pond Road at around 4:45 a.m.
Cops arrived to find employees who reported to them that a white male suspect approached armed with a gun and demanded cash according to reports.
It is not immediately clear how much (if any) cash the suspect took before he fled the scene in a small vehicle towards Rt. 80 East reports said.
Police are investigating.
