Rifle-Wielding Suspects Wanted After Gunfire Erupts in Trenton

Authorities in Mercer County are searching for two suspects who opened fire on a Trenton street late Monday night.

 

According to investigators, a ShotSpotter device detected about 10 rounds of gunfire around 11:35 p.m. in the 200 block of Coolidge Avenue. 

Multiple police units rushed to the scene, where they recovered shell casings but found no victims.

Detectives later learned that two unidentified men, reportedly armed with a rifle, fired several shots at unknown targets before fleeing the area on Eisenhower Avenue.


 It remains unclear who the intended targets were, and no injuries have been reported.

 

The suspects are still at large as the investigation continues. Officials have not released additional details at this time.
